Megan Windridge Manager

Hi, I'm Megan Windridge - Nursery Manager I joined Yellow Dot Eastleigh in 2011 as a Nursery Nurse after completing two years training to achieve my Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Child Care and Education. I then went on the complete a Level 2 Leadership and Management course and was promoted to Senior Nursery Nurse. After gaining more experience with leading a team I was then promoted to Transition Room Manager. With this change in role it lead me obtain my Advanced Practice Level 5 Diploma in Children and Young People, and with that a promotion to Deputy Manager. I am now thrilled to be leading and inspiring a team to deliver outstanding practice. I am passionate in caring for children and helping them reach their full potential across all areas.

Our nursery is convenient for commuters and is situated close to the M3 and M27 and only a five minute walk to Eastleigh Bus Station and Eastleigh Train station. There is a local park opposite the nursery, and the town centre is a short walk away, with a library and museum for us to visit. Drop off and collection are made easy with our own on site car park located at the back of the building.

The Nursery is a double fronted Victorian building which has been totally refurbished providing a high quality environment for young children. Our spacious baby and toddler rooms are located on the ground floor with their own courtyard garden. Transition and kindergarten rooms are located upstairs with their own rooftop garden with a mud kitchen.

We have an on site chef who cooks all meals freshly each day. Our four weekly rotational menus are accredited by The Children's Food Trust.

At Yellow Dot Nursery we believe it is important to consider the whole child. We value children as individuals, recognising and supporting their needs as appropriate. We offer a balanced programme of opportunities and experiences designed to be stimulating and educational whilst being fun. We recognise the role adults play and how children and adults learn from each other and enrich each other's lives.

We'd be delighted to welcome you to Yellow Dot Eastleigh. Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time that suits you.
