North Baddesley Nursery

Yellow Dot Nursery is a welcoming purpose built, single storey building situated in the residential area of North Baddesley. The nursery is extremely well designed, with small low levelled windows to allow the children to look out on the environment.

Children are instantly drawn to the built in fish tank in the entrance hall, encouraging children’s conversation. The landscape behind the nursery is farmland where the children can see horses, rabbits and deer running freely.

At Yellow Dot Nursery the whole child is considered to be important. We value children as individuals and provide a balanced programme of fun, stimulation and learning activities.

Our activities are founded on the Early Years Foundation Stage which focuses on:

• Communication language and literacy
• Problem solving, reasoning and numeracy
• Knowledge and understanding of the world
• Physical development
• Creative development

We believe children and adults learn from each other and enrich each others lives. The nursery is divided into four areas:
