Ampfield Nursery is nestled in the countryside set back from the main road running between Winchester and Romsey. The building is a modern barn conversion that has been refurbished to provide a high quality child friendly environment. Babies and Toddler Plus children are able to watch the birds and wild animals in the garden through the full length windows as well as enjoy walks through the woods to an open glade. The Toddlers and Kindergarten children have direct access to the garden, Toddlers can access outside play on their own deck and the lawn via a slide.

At Yellow Dot Nursery Ampfield we believe it is important to consider the individual needs of each child. We value the children recognising the role adults play, and that children and adults learn from each other enriching each other's lives. We offer a balanced programme of activities designed to be both stimulating and educational whilst being fun.

Our activities are founded on the Early Years Foundation Stage which focuses on:
